Real Wedding: Kindra and Phil

Kindra and Phil celebrated their wedding on September 21, 2013 at their family farm. The couple chose Splashdrop Photography to capture the special day. Infused Catering provided the meal and Sugar Leaf Bakery created the delicious cake for the reception. Shannon Custom Floral designed all the arrangements, including the stunning bouquet, and decorated the reception tent. The yummy S’mores bar was designed by Social Graces. Kindra bought her beautiful gown from Normans in Downtown Springfield.

Here’s a sample of the gorgeous day!

Meet Our Intern: Courtney

1I2A7780We are super excited to announce our Intern for the Spring 2014 semester; Courtney Benisch.  She has been so fun and has already worked hard for Social Graces.  Her first wedding with us is this weekend and we are fully confident that she will do great! 1I2A7784 Coutney is a student at Missouri State majoring in public relations with a marketing minor. “I chose those my freshman year because I’ve always wanted to be in the communication field.”

Courtney has big goals once she graduates in December: “After graduation I plan on moving to NYC and pursuing a career in fashion PR. It’s been a dream of mine forever so I’m going to do anything and everything to make that possible. I’ve been obsessed with fashion since I was little so I’m excited to combine communications and fashion for my career.

1I2A7792When asked why she wanted to intern at Social Graces, she said: “I chose to intern at Social Graces because a lot of PR can be working with events and handling press for them. At Social Graces I can learn the ins and outs of event planning that way I can be more well rounded when it comes to events like brand launches and fashion shows.”

Welcome Courtney!

Real Wedding: Megan and Cory

Social Graces is gearing up for our third summer together.  So, it’s been fun looking back on last summer.  Mrs. Megan and Cory were one of the sweetest couples we had the chance to work with.  It was a hot summer day but it sure was beautiful and this lovely couple made the most of their time with each other and their family.

Engagement: Karly and Shaun

Today’s couple is near and dear to my heart. My brother-in-law Shaun and his then fiancee, now new bride Karly honored me with the privilege of taking their engagement pics. It was so much fun taking a stroll through the woods with these two and grabbing a few shots of them in such a beautiful, natural surrounding. They certainly made my job easy. Come back on Wednesday for a peek into their bridal shower. It was a blast.
