Today’s party recipes is a great summer bbq side, provencal tomatoes. It’s easy to make and easy to serve, your party guests will love this little summer dish.

Preheat oven to 375ºF.
Cut 4 large tomatoes in half cross-wise
Place tomatoes on a baking sheet, cut side up.
Season tomatoes with:
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper, ground
In a small bowl mash together and combine with a fork:
1 cup panko bread crumbs
1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 TBS thyme, fresh
Press topping evenly along the tops of the tomatoes, about 2 TBS per tomato.
Bake for 20 minutes until tops are lightly browned.
Serve hot or at room temperature.
