DIY: Tissue Pom Pom

These tissue pom poms are everywhere, and its no wonder why: they are easy, inexpensive and super cute. Although you can make the pom poms full size, we decided that they look their best in a smaller, more petite size. I am using these today for an office baby shower.

1. Start by gathering 7 pieces of tissue paper. You can use one color, similar shades of a color or complimentary colors.

2. Cut in half (long ways). Set one set aside for a second pom pom.

3. Fold, accordian-style

4. Tie and knot a string around the middle. We used cooking twine, but you could also use ribbon, yarn or fishing wire.

5. Cut both ends in a diagonal so that both sides mirror each other.

6. Fan out the layers.

Done! Display your beautiful project!
