A Company Luau

Social Graces had the opportunity to plan a corporate event for a great company in Bolivar. MO. They had just completed a software launch and it was time to celebrate the team with a luau. Shauna Storey from Accunture was wonderful to work with and made our job super easy.

Baby: A Gender Reveal Party

Today’s party is an extra special one for me…it’s when I (Becca) found out I am having a baby boy in April.

A couple of weeks ago we had a gender reveal party with 40 of our closest friends and family. I had every detail planned, including the WAY we were going to cut into the cake.  Except, I hadn’t thought through the moment of 40 people watching, anxiously awaiting to see the color. It was an exciting and very emotional moment to say the least.
Here is our sweet little girl, Zeda.  I’m not sure what she was more excited about, having a brother or eating cake.

DIY: Fall Wedding Centerpiece

Here is a simple yet perfect centerpiece for your fall wedding by Martha Stewart.Image found here

Tools and Materials

  • Spray adhesive
  • Assorted dried leaves
  • Glass candleholders
  • Candles

    • How-To

    1. Apply spray adhesive to the backs of the leaves.

    2. Wrap leaves around candleholder, letting the stem of each extend slightly past the base.

    3. Cut off leaf overhang along bottom of candleholder.

    4. Place candle in the bottom of the candleholder and light.

    We borrowed this Autumn themed Engagement Party from Celebrations at Home. Its cute, fun and totally DIY-able (did I just make up that word/phrase?).  Although its styled for an engagement party, it could easily translate into a theme for a wedding, party or shower.
